A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide services within an elementary school setting in the Philadelphia, PA area. This contract position focuses on supporting students through individualized speech and language interventions and assessments. The opportunity is based at a regional education service provider serving multiple communities.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students across specified school zones, including Upper Darby, Yeadon, Broomall, Lansdowne, and Aston.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Participate in team meetings and comply with state and federal regulations related to special education.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification (CCC-SLP preferred).
- Experience working within school settings, ideally with early intervention programs.
- Flexibility to provide services in multiple geographic zones.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Located in Broomall, PA, supporting Delaware County IU 25.
- Full-time schedule preferred (35 hours/week, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday).
- Part-time candidates accepted with availability of at least two days per week.
- Ability to work within a team of three SLPs focused on early intervention.
