Full-Time SLP Empower Student Communication in Lakota Local Schools
Lakota Local Schools is actively hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver assessments and therapy services that help students build essential communication skills for academic and social success. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive educational team.
Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will assess student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy across a variety of speech and language areas.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech-language evaluations and prepare clear, thorough reports

Develop and implement therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
-
Address articulation, fluency, expressive and receptive language, and social communication
-
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote progress
-
Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations and updates
-
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
Required Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active Ohio SLP License
-
Ohio Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs
-
ASHA CCC strongly preferred
-
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
-
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Type: Full-time, onsite

Schedule: Monday–Friday during school hours

Caseload: K–12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
