A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 public school setting located in West Branch, MI. This contract role spans the current school year with a start date as soon as possible and extends through June 12th, 2026. The position offers the opportunity to work with a wide age range, from early intervention through high school students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy services across diverse age groups, including early intervention, preschool, and school-aged children.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student needs.
- Conduct home visits and preschool sessions as required to support early intervention and ongoing therapy.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to develop individualized education plans and ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) required.
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology and healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with teletherapy methods is beneficial.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience working within school environments and knowledge of K-12 educational settings.
