Independent SLP Teletherapist West Virginia Contract Schools
Join a team of remote professionals offering high-quality, contracted SLP services to schools across West Virginia. As an Independent SLP Teletherapist, you'll have the freedom to manage your caseload, schedule sessions, and provide care aligned with best practices in school speech-language pathology. This role requires excellent organizational skills, clear communication, and a passion for student success in an online format. The position is best suited for experienced SLPs comfortable with digital documentation and virtual collaboration.
Duties:

Manage a school-assigned caseload with minimal supervision.

Provide engaging and interactive therapy in a virtual format.

Document services using district-approved systems.

Review and interpret prior evaluations for therapy planning.

Attend virtual eligibility and reevaluation team meetings.

Create individualized progress benchmarks per student.

Coordinate with special education teachers for scheduling.

Deliver functional communication interventions.
-
Develop service plans for preschool and early learners.

Advise teams on speech-language eligibility under WV regulations.

Offer support for behavioral communication concerns.

Contribute to remote professional learning communities.

Respond to district and compliance communications within timelines.

Prepare and submit quarterly or trimester reports.

Keep accurate and confidential student records.

VOCOVISION Requirements
· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
