Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist in Canandaigua, NY

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed on a contract basis to cover a maternity leave from October 20 to mid-December. This role supports K-5 students with disabilities across two elementary schools located in Canandaigua, NY. The position is onsite and offers the opportunity to work closely with young learners in a school environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students with disabilities
- Collaborating with teachers and special education staff to develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation and progress reports
- Participating in student evaluations and team meetings as needed
- Ensuring compliance with state and district regulations
Qualifications:
- NY SLP License and NY Teaching Certification are required
- Experience working with pediatric populations in schools preferred
- Knowledge of speech-language pathology practices appropriate for K-5 students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite full-time for the duration of the contract
