Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active Texas SLP licensure required
- School-based SLP experience and familiarity with K-12 caseloads strongly preferred
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are highly valued
- Must be available for full-time hours (up to 37.5 per week) over the contract dates: August 10, 2026 – May 21, 2027
- Ability to complete or verify TEA fingerprinting prior to start (processing can take up to 10 days)
- Comfort working with a caseload of approximately 60-65 students at a single school location
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Take an active role in school-based teams to support holistic student development
