Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) license required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Bilingual Spanish speakers encouraged to apply
- Ability to meet credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting through TEA
- Strong organizational and case management skills
- Adaptable to working itinerantly across campuses
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech/language therapy services for students ages K-12
- Oversee and provide supervision to SLPAs as needed
- Manage caseloads and documentation across assigned school(s)
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support students’ individualized education goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state standards
