An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential therapy services within a K-12 school setting in Mansfield, TX. This contract position spans the current school year and primarily involves in-person therapy, likely focused on an elementary campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group speech therapy to students.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and interpret assessment results.
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting student progress and therapy outcomes.
  • Monitor student development and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
  • Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to collaborate on student educational plans.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant credentials as an SLP or SLPA.
  • Experience working in a school or healthcare environment providing speech therapy services.
  • Familiarity with pediatric caseloads and teletherapy modalities is a plus.
  • Comfort with conducting evaluations, report writing, and progress monitoring.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
