Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP)
- Open to candidates with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Skills working with students requiring related services and complex programming (MDS, Autism Spectrum, Life Skills)
- Proficiency implementing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) solutions
- Ability to thrive in a team setting, collaborating frequently with occupational therapists and physical therapists
What You’ll Do:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students, all with complex needs
- Deliver a full spectrum of related speech-language services (evaluations, direct therapy, consults)
- Work closely with OT, PT, and educational staff, participating in integrated planning and interventions
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized AAC strategies tailored to student needs
- Engage in IEP meetings and ongoing progress monitoring/documentation
- Foster strong, supportive relationships with students, caregivers, and staff within the building
Role Details:
- Full-time contract: 35 hours per week
- Consistent schedule: roughly 8:00 am – 3:30 pm
- Single school building assignment for focused, collaborative work
