A full-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available to support early childhood and elementary school students in Elizabeth, NJ. This contract role spans from ASAP through the end of the school year and requires active participation in a collaborative educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in early childhood and elementary speech therapy programs
- Participate in Child Study Team meetings to address student needs
- Schedule and conduct Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Monitor and document student progress effectively
- Collaborate closely with school personnel to support student learning
Qualifications:
- Current New Jersey Department of Education Speech Therapist certification
- Valid New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience with school-aged children in a special education setting is beneficial
Location: Elizabeth, New Jersey (Elementary School environment)
Contract Details:
- Full-time, contract position from ASAP through the end of the school year
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly rate between $50 and $60
