With a dedicated schedule through May 26th, 2027, you’ll work collaboratively with school professionals and play an essential role in shaping positive student outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid and active SLP licensure for Texas
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with students, families, and staff
- Solid organizational abilities and adaptability to changing caseloads or school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services to a diverse student population
- Administer assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Support students in achieving academic and social communication success
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide guidance to the wider educational team
