Providing speech-language pathology services within a K-12 public school setting, this role supports students primarily in an elementary school environment. The position covers a caseload focused on mild to moderate disabilities, with occasional students presenting more significant needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language pathology evaluations and interventions for students across grade levels
- Managing caseloads within one elementary school
- Collaborating with educational staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participating in team meetings and parent conferences as needed
Qualifications:
- Holds a Professional Educator License (PEL) with an SLP Endorsement
- Experience providing services to school-age children, particularly those with mild to moderate disabilities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite and follow school policies and procedures
Location:
- Position based onsite in Arlington Heights, IL
Work Schedule:
- Full-time or part-time position available
- Approximately 30 hours per week, with potential for additional hours to catch up on service delivery
- Contract duration from ASAP to the end of the school year (EOSY)
