Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders for students from early childhood through 12th grade
  • Manage caseloads across multiple school locations, providing individualized and group therapy as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication development
  • Ensure compliance with district and state regulations, completing required documentation and progress reporting
  • Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFs) as applicable, providing guidance and support for professional development

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Illinois Professional Educator License with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
  • Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Fluency in English and Spanish to provide bilingual therapy services
  • Experience working with diverse student populations in school settings preferred
  • Willingness to work full time (37.5 hours/week) onsite across multiple school sites
  • Open to supporting Clinical Fellows under supervision

  • Onsite in Des Plaines, IL and nearby school locations within the district’s Chicago area
  • Contract position with anticipated start ASAP through May 20, 2026
