A full-time Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (English and Spanish) is needed for K-12 school assignments in Des Plaines, IL. This contract position runs from ASAP through 05/20/2026, offering varied caseloads across multiple school sites, primarily in early childhood settings. This role requires on-site work only and offers a dynamic environment serving children across several grades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and intervention services for students from early childhood through grade 12.
  • Manage caseloads that may be split between two or more schools, tailoring services to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to support student communication development.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements.
  • Supervise clinical fellows when applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with Speech Language Pathologist endorsement.
  • Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish for effective bilingual service delivery.
  • Experience working within school settings preferred.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
  • Willingness to provide on-site services exclusively.

Location: Des Plaines, IL (Chicago Metropolitan Area)

Work Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
