Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team in Waterville, Maine (ZIP 04901). This role provides an opportunity to support student communication development in a collaborative school environment serving a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough speech and language screenings, evaluations, and assessments.

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) that address students’ communication needs.

Deliver direct speech therapy services in individual and group formats.

Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success.

Maintain accurate, detailed documentation compliant with state and federal requirements.

Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility discussions, and team collaboration.

Provide consultation and training to staff and families regarding communication strategies.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Valid Maine state licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to start date.

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.

Strong understanding of IDEA, IEP processes, and school-based therapy best practices.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in educational or pediatric settings.

Bilingual or multilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Familiarity with AAC technology and teletherapy platforms.
