In this contract role, you will conduct a comprehensive speech and language evaluation for one Portuguese-speaking student. Your clinical insights will help shape educational plans and facilitate communication during a Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meeting.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold active Connecticut SLP certification
- Proficient in Portuguese, able to conduct assessments and communicate findings
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong report-writing and consultation skills
- Professional, collaborative approach with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete a speech-language assessment for a Portuguese-speaking student
- Prepare a clear, actionable evaluation report tailored to the student's educational context
- Offer expert consultation at a PPT meeting scheduled for November 30th
- Collaborate with school staff and provide recommendations to support the student’s educational outcomes
Position Details:
