Deliver Speech-Language Pathology services in a dynamic school setting in Washington, VA, from August 3, 2026, through May 27, 2027. This full-time role supports students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade. The position may require travel between multiple school buildings, emphasizing flexibility and collaboration across diverse educational environments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services tailored to individual, small group, or classroom-based needs.
- Participate actively in eligibility evaluations, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team conferences.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to implement effective communication strategies and support student progress.
- Manage a caseload of students requiring Speech-Language Pathology services within the school setting.
Qualifications:
- Virginia license to practice Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience or training in Pediatrics and School-based Speech-Language Pathology services.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and multidisciplinary teams.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel between school locations as needed.
