This opportunity is for two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in a K-12 public school setting located in Providence, RI. The positions offer part-time or full-time hours with a contract extending through June 16, 2026. Caseloads will be determined based on student needs, with flexibility in assignment details to be discussed during the interview process.
Key qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Eligibility to meet state licensure requirements for Rhode Island
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to provide in-person services (remote work not typical for these roles)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments for students K-12
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with educators and other related service providers
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Participating in team meetings and parent conferences
