Several SLP positions are available to meet varying needs, including:
- An elementary caseload working across three buildings, serving about 50 students.
- An elementary caseload within a single building, working directly with 47 students.
- A position supporting a Functional Classroom for Intensive Support (FCIS), fostering communication skills and adaptive strategies for students requiring more comprehensive assistance.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services according to students’ IEP goals.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language needs.
- Develop, implement, and update treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
- Support students in developing effective communication and social skills.
