Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Dearborn, Michigan

A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year in a K-12 educational setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of approximately 26 students, providing essential speech-language therapy services throughout the academic year.
Location: Dearborn, MI
Duration: Contract through 6/12/2026
Schedule:
- 3 days per week, 7.5 hours per day
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Note: Initial weeks require additional hours to complete compensatory time.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to K-12 students with diverse communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on each student's evaluation
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in team meetings and IEP development as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in pediatric and school-based settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech-language development and therapy techniques for children and adolescents
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to supporting students’ academic and social communication goals
