A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school located in Warren, MI. This contract role is set to begin ASAP and continue through June 11, 2026, offering approximately 22 hours per week over three days. The focus will be on providing speech-language therapy services to an elementary caseload of about 25 students within an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy services to elementary students diagnosed with ASD.
- Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in an ASD setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families.
- Ability to provide services onsite as this role is not remote or VOCO.
