School Speech and Language Pathologist | Kingston, New York
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid New York state license is needed to provide services at an elementary school setting. This contract position is set to begin ASAP, with the end date pending as there is potential for extension beyond the summer months.
Responsibilities include delivering speech-language therapy across 27 sessions at a location in Latham, NY. Coverage will be required for one 6 to 8-month maternity leave assignment in Pine Plains, NY, as well as a separate long-term assignment requiring 27 sessions. These assignments focus on supporting students with communication needs in compliance with school-based SLP practices.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- New York state Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience or specialization in school-based speech-language therapy
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively in elementary educational settings
