Are you a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant looking for a rewarding, school-based role in a supportive environment? Position 1: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Overview:
As the lead speech-language professional, the SLP will provide a full range of services, including screening, assessment, intervention, and collaboration with families and educators to support students with communication challenges.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders

Develop and implement appropriate, data-driven treatment plans
-
Lead IEP development and participate in annual review meetings
-
Deliver direct services based on IEP goals and individualized needs

Maintain detailed records of student progress, sessions, and outcomes
-
Provide mentorship and supervision to SLPA team members (if assigned)

Collaborate regularly with teachers, specialists, and administrators
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Valid Mississippi SLP license (or eligibility for licensure by start date)

ASHA CCC preferred, CFs welcome to apply with supervision in place

Experience in school settings preferred but not required

Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills
Position 2: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Overview:
The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to help students develop communication skills necessary for academic and social success. This role includes providing therapy services, supporting classroom integration, and tracking student progress.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement therapy sessions designed by the supervising SLP

Assist with lesson planning, materials prep, and classroom carryover

Document therapy services and maintain compliance with reporting standards

Participate in team meetings and student support planning

Support student engagement through consistent, evidence-based strategies
Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field

Mississippi SLPA license or eligibility for licensure

Prior school or pediatric experience preferred but not required

Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for student development
