About the Opportunity in Placerville, CA:

Join a fantastic and supportive district in the picturesque Placerville area. This full-time, full school year role offers a dynamic experience, allowing you to make a significant impact on Pre-Kindergarten and Elementary students, with potential to work with older age groups. You'll be part of a collaborative team committed to providing high-quality services, traveling between multiple school sites within the eastern part of the district.

Your Essential Duties as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments.
  • Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
  • Providing direct and indirect speech and language therapy services.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
  • Participating in IEP meetings and providing professional input.
