Are you a passionate and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a rewarding on-site opportunity in Vista, CA? We're looking for a dedicated SLP to join our elementary team for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity for an SLP to contribute to student success with a 50/50 shared assignment. You will work collaboratively within our elementary schools, providing essential speech and language services to a diverse caseload of students. Your expertise will be vital in helping young learners develop crucial communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary students.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with students, families, teachers, and school staff.
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services addressing a range of communication needs (e.g., articulation, language, fluency, social communication).
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of services and student progress.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and staff development.
- Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student achievement.
Qualifications:
- Must be currently licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board.
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with elementary-aged students, is preferred.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
