Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Virginia Beach, VA
Blazer Jobs is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students in the Virginia Beach, VA area. Compensation Packages
Pay is determined by experience, district budgets, and contract specifics. Final details will be confirmed during the interview stage.
Local Candidates (commuting within the Virginia Beach area):

Hourly rate: $42–$48/hr

Full-time, school-year schedule

Weekly pay with direct deposit
Travel Candidates (open to relocation):

Lower taxable hourly rate plus tax-free stipends for housing and meals

Estimated weekly take-home equivalent to $54–$60/hr after stipends and estimated taxes

Relocation and travel support provided

Job Responsibilities

Provide direct speech and language therapy services in individual and group settings

Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs

Contribute to IEP development and progress tracking

Collaborate with families, teachers, and school staff to support student growth

Maintain detailed records in compliance with district, state, and federal standards
Requirements
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Current Virginia SLP license (or eligibility before assignment start)

ASHA CCC preferred; CFY candidates are welcome to apply

Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents

Must complete school district onboarding requirements
