Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based opportunity in the Virginia Beach area. This role is ideal for both local professionals looking for consistent school-year employment and licensed travel clinicians interested in meaningful, well-compensated assignments along the Atlantic Coast.
About the Position
In this role, you’ll serve K–12 students across a diverse school district, delivering speech and language services tailored to individual education plans (IEPs). You will work closely with special education teams, teachers, and families to assess needs, implement interventions, and help students build critical communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy

Conduct evaluations, interpret results, and participate in eligibility determinations

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs

Maintain timely and compliant documentation

Partner with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student progress and success
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences

Active Virginia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFs encouraged to apply

Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Must meet all federal and state background requirements
