State and Federal Requirements:

  • Active Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology license

  • Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) through ASHA

  • Fingerprint and background clearance in accordance with Virginia DOE requirements

  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Duties:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to students with communication disorders

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers

  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the educational planning process
