Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Elementary School
Virginia - Full-Time Contract
We’re hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school district in Virginia, supporting students at the elementary level. This full-time contract runs through the end of the school year and offers a consistent weekly schedule, strong team collaboration, and a clearly defined caseload.
Assignment Overview
SLPs will be placed at one elementary school site, with caseloads ranging from 35 to 45 students depending on location. This is a great opportunity for newer clinicians seeking hands-on experience in a school-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services across grade levels
• Coordinate IEP meetings, testing timelines, and daily schedules with Special Education staff
• Deliver individualized and group instruction in resource, inclusion, and pullout settings
• Maintain caseload documentation and contribute to district tracking systems
• Collaborate with families and educators to support communication goals
Qualifications
• Virginia SLP license (active or in progress)
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• School-based experience preferred but not required
• Open to Clinical Fellows and recent graduates
