A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to serve students in a K-12 school setting located in the Binghamton, NY area. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, from an ASAP start date through June 18th, 2026. The role involves providing comprehensive SLP services to students of varying ages across multiple locations within the Binghamton region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in the school setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development.
Qualifications:
- Active New York State Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Valid New York State Educator Certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with school-aged children across varying age groups.
- Ability to work onsite exclusively in school locations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Onsite work at various locations assigned upon hire in the Binghamton area.
