A dynamic opportunity for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) is available serving K-12 students in full-time and part-time capacities. This contract position supports various school settings throughout Southeast Florida, focusing on delivering specialized speech and language services to a diverse student population.

Location: Multiple sites including Ft. Pierce and Port St. Lucie, FL
Assignment Duration: January 5, 2026 – June 2, 2026
Schedule: Varies by assignment, with options for full and part-time hours
Caseload: Typically assigned to one school campus, supporting students across elementary to middle school levels, including specialized units such as InD (Intellectually Disabled) and DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) clusters
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments, evaluations, and therapy for students across K-12 settings
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Support specialized units, including InD and DHH, ensuring tailored interventions
  • Complete speech-language evaluations for private school referrals as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Ability to work independently, as some assignments have no SLP onsite on certain days
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders in school-aged children
  • Experience with caseloads involving specialized student populations highly preferred
