Job Summary
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, onsite position in Vernon Hills, IL for the 2025–2026 school year. This role supports middle school students with diverse speech and language needs, working collaboratively with educators and families to promote student communication skills and academic success.
Both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply. Supervision and mentorship are provided for CFs.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct speech-language evaluations and screenings for middle school students

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Provide direct therapy services in individual and small group settings

Address communication disorders including articulation, language, fluency, and voice

Collaborate with general education teachers, special education teams, and families
-
Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with school and state guidelines

Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning
Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences

Active Illinois SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required

Clinical Fellows welcome — supervision and mentorship provided

Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
