Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Active SLP licensure in California or eligible for state licensure
- Previous experience in school settings, supporting K-12th grade preferred
- Experience with AAC devices strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative mindset and adaptability to different work environments
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educational teams
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services
- Utilize AAC devices and other innovative technology as needed for student support
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Communicate progress to families and staff
