This role is designed for a dedicated school-based Speech-Language Pathologist who holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and is ready to start as soon as possible through the end of the school year. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid CCC-SLP credential
- Active state licensure to practice as an SLP in California
- School-based experience with K-12 students
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn about Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is desired
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and identify students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals for K-12 students
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with general/special education staff and families to support student development
- Maintain thorough documentation in line with district and regulatory requirements
- Consult on AAC device use and provide training for staff and students where needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, case conferences, and ongoing team collaboration
