School Speech Language Pathologist - Valparaiso, IN
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students across dynamic elementary and intermediate schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Three SLPs are currently needed for the upcoming school year, with a preference for professionals holding the CCC credential. Travel SLPs are welcome to apply.
Multiple assignment options allow you to match your expertise and interests. Based on your placement, responsibilities may include:
Qualifications:
- Active and valid SLP license for the state (CCC strongly preferred)
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings
- Team-oriented mindset and effective communication skills
- No SLPA candidates at this time
Role Details:
- Contracted position, full school year
- Full-time schedule: 7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, flexible scheduling
- Opportunities at Fegley Intermediate, Crisman Elementary, and multiple elementary/middle schools
- Manage caseloads ranging from 70–100 students
- Serve a variety of age groups—including Developmental Preschool up through middle school
- Collaborate with special education teachers, school staff, and families
- Option for SLA (Speech-Language Assistant) support based on caseload and licensing
