Speech Pathology - La Porte, IN
This position offers an opportunity to provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a K-12 school setting within Porter Township. The role involves managing a caseload of approximately 80 students, including both general education and applied skills students, spread across three buildings. Flexibility in school placement is available, with a focus on meeting the district’s current highest needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite speech-language pathology services to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and district policies
- Split work between schools within Porter Township, with schedules Monday through Friday totaling 37.5 hours per week
- Serve a diverse student population, including those with applied skills needs
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP certification, preferably with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology services
- Ability to effectively serve K-12 students with a range of needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility and organization to manage caseload across multiple locations

- Contract position from January 15, 2026 through May 28, 2026
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, approximately 37.5 hours per week
