Seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across all grade levels in a K-12 educational setting located in Antioch, CA. This full-time or part-time contract opportunity spans the current school year with an ASAP start and runs through the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students with diverse communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other service providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Support students at all grade levels with tailored interventions.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP certification and licensure, including SLP in school settings.
- Experience as an SLP Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) or with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Familiarity with school-based speech therapy delivery is essential.
- Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment that promotes student communication success.
Additional Information:
- This role is intended to replace VOCational Communication (VOCO) SLPs.
- Clinical fellows will be matched with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
- Position may accommodate both full-time and part-time schedules.
- Contract duration aligns with the current school year (CSY).
