An opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services at a middle school level in Santa Clarita, CA. This full-time, contract position involves working 40 hours per week within a compassionate educational environment. The assignment spans the current school year, covering leave through January, and offers the chance to support a meaningful caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective speech and language interventions to 54 students across two school sites.
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to ensure students’ communication goals are met.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to maximize outcomes.
- Maintain detailed and accurate session documentation in compliance with educational standards.
- Support students without additional case management responsibilities, focusing on therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Valid California State License or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with middle school students.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently.
