Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join an educational team in Newton, NC for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time position serving four private schools within the county, working with a manageable caseload of 23 students ranging from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Service Locations: 4 private schools within Catawba County

Setting: In-person, school-based services
Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy to students according to IEP or service plan goals

Conduct speech-language evaluations and reassessments
-
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines

Travel between the assigned private school locations as needed
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates may be considered

Prior school-based experience is a plus

Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills

Reliable transportation for travel between school sites
