Speech Language Pathologist in Upper Darby, PA
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting middle and high school students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant and diverse urban district. This full-time, onsite position begins August 24, 2026 and continues through June 10, 2027, with a 35-hour work week. Your expertise will help shape communication skills and support academic success for students who need it most.
You’ll work in person with students at the middle and high school levels, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering direct therapy tailored to individual student needs. Collaboration is key, as you’ll coordinate with educators, families, and IEP teams to ensure each student’s progress is closely monitored and goals are achieved.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- A valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience working in schools, with middle and/or high school caseloads
- Experience and comfort working in an urban setting
- Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
- Reliable transportation to travel between campuses if needed
- Flexibility to work onsite only; no remote work options available
- Availability to work between 7:15AM and 4:00PM, with no schedule accommodations
- Confidence collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Comfort adjusting to district expectations and the dynamic urban environment
