School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Modesto, California
This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who is interested in serving K-12 students within a school setting in Modesto, CA. The role involves supporting students across potentially multiple sites, with assignments based on caseload needs.
Responsibilities include providing speech and language interventions aligned with standard caseload requirements, collaborating with educators and school staff to enhance students’ communication skills, and maintaining accurate documentation of student progress. The position is 6 hours per day, typically scheduled between 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM, with slight variations depending on the site.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certifications or credentials as an SLP or SLPA appropriate for school settings
- Experience working with K-12 students in speech-language therapy
- Ability to adapt to multiple site locations as caseloads require
- Strong communication skills and collaborative attitude
- Knowledge of educational speech therapy standards and compliance
This is a contract position lasting through the current school year, from ASAP until May 29, 2026. The schedule includes breaks during Winter (December 19, 2025, to January 12, 2026) and Spring (March 23-27, 2026) breaks, consistent with the school calendar.
