A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Clarks Summit, PA, located south of Wilkes-Barre and northwest of Allentown. This contract position requires full-time availability, with a 35-hour workweek, starting ASAP and continuing through the end of the school year (EOSY). There is potential for renewal for the following school year.
Responsibilities include providing speech and language therapy services to Early Intervention (EI) children ages 3 to 5, primarily those with a 25% developmental delay, as well as school-age children with Autism. Services will be provided onsite at a single location, with a focus on supporting young learners in school settings.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Massachusetts licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with school certification
- Experience working with Early Intervention children, especially ages 3 to 5
- Expertise in supporting children with Autism spectrum disorders
- Ability to deliver therapy in an onsite school environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educational teams and families
