Online SLP Evaluator Oklahoma Special Education Teams
We are hiring a Remote Speech-Language Pathologist Evaluator to conduct virtual assessments for Oklahoma schools. This role is best suited for SLPs who specialize in diagnostics and enjoy collaborating with multidisciplinary evaluation teams. As a 1099 contractor, you’ll independently manage your schedule while completing high-quality assessments and documentation. You’ll play a critical part in the eligibility determination process, ensuring each evaluation meets compliance standards set by Oklahoma law. This role does not involve regular therapy caseloads, focusing instead on testing and reporting.
Duties:

Conduct virtual speech-language assessments for initial and triennial evaluations

Select and administer culturally responsive assessment tools

Complete comprehensive written reports aligned with IDEA and Oklahoma regulations

Collaborate with school psychologists, special education teachers, and parents

Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings remotely

Recommend service levels based on data and student need

Review records and prior evaluations to inform testing

Adapt assessments for online administration without loss of validity

Ensure timely submission of evaluation documentation

Provide consultation for borderline or complex cases

Maintain confidentiality during all virtual testing sessions

Support school districts during OSDE audits or file reviews

Offer second opinions or re-evaluations as requested

Manage multiple district assignments and deadlines

Attend periodic calibration meetings for consistency in evaluation procedures

· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
