School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Amado, Arizona

Located in Amado, AZ, this full-time contract opportunity involves providing speech-language pathology services across two K-12 school sites. The caseload includes approximately 80 students, with one site serving 12 students and the other accommodating the remainder. The position is supported by a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) two days per week to assist in delivering quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students across two school sites
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in alignment with school district requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP - CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY) completion
- Experience working within educational settings, preferably with K-12 students
- Strong caseload management skills with the ability to balance responsibilities at multiple sites
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience or willingness to work alongside and supervise an SLPA
