A maternity leave coverage position is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification. This contract role is based in Clementon, NJ, and involves working across two locations in Marlton, providing services from ASAP through late spring, likely until the end of May.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct one-on-one speech-language therapy sessions, approximately 30 minutes each, with 6-7 students daily.
- Work with higher-functioning students on the autism spectrum at two public schools—Marlton Middle School and DeMasi School.
- Allocate time for writing progress notes, planning therapy sessions, and developing goals and objectives for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain consistent communication with school staff and support student progress.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Split time evenly between Marlton Middle School and DeMasi School locations.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum, especially higher-functioning individuals.
- Strong organizational skills to manage therapy documentation and IEP planning.
- Ability to work effectively in school settings and collaborate with educational teams.
