Speech Language Pathologist Position - Trenton, MI

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide coverage for a five-week leave at an elementary school located in Trenton, MI. This contract position spans the course of the current school year (CSY), with a start date of September 2nd and an end date in late September.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language therapy services to an elementary caseload of approximately 45 students
- Delivering individual and group therapy sessions tailored to meet diverse communication needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with school district policies and IDEA regulations
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to student intervention plans
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in healthcare and pediatric speech therapy settings
- Ability to provide teletherapy services as needed
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable
- Previous experience working within school environments preferred
Work hours for this full-time assignment are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This role offers the opportunity to impact young learners in an engaging elementary setting during a temporary leave period.
