Speech-Language Pathologist – Tower City, PA
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time opportunity with school districts in the Tower City, Pennsylvania area. This position is for the 2025–2026 school year.
Required Qualifications:
All applicants must meet state and local certification requirements, including:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Valid Pennsylvania SLP License issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language and Hearing
-
Active Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) certification – Educational Specialist Instructional Certificate in Speech and Language Impaired
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows may also be considered
-
Completion of state-mandated background checks: FBI, PA Child Abuse Clearance, and PA State Police Criminal Background Check
Typical Responsibilities Include:

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
-
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
-
Support inclusive practices and language development in classroom settings
