Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and passionate Speech Language Therapists (SLPs) for a full-time position within school districts in the Tower City, Pennsylvania area. Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered for this role, including:

Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist License
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred (CFY candidates may also be considered)
-
Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Certification in Speech and Language Impaired (Educational Specialist Instructional I or II)
-
Current PA Criminal Background Check, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Fingerprinting
-
Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly preferred
-
Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct therapy services tailored to students’ individual needs
-
Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary team planning
-
Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and therapy sessions
-
Support student development in areas such as articulation, fluency, voice, and language
