Travel School-Based SLP | Torrington, Connecticut
An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification to support a middle and high school caseload in Torrington, CT. This school-based position requires onsite presence and includes supervision of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). The role is part-time, offering 8–10 hours per week with an immediate start date through June 11, 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut SLP license
- Current Connecticut Education Certification
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with middle and high school students
- Previous supervision experience with SLPAs
- Reliable local transportation and availability for onsite work (remote supervision is not permitted)
- Ability to manage scheduling commitments effectively
Location: Onsite role based in Torrington, CT with local travel as needed within the district.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to middle and high school students
- Supervise the work of the assigned Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in compliance with state regulations
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student communication needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services delivered
- Participate in required meetings and professional development activities onsite
