Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed for the upcoming academic year, working full-time on-site with a range of students. This role offers the chance to work across 1 to 4 campuses, with travel capped to no more than a 1-hour drive or 20 miles. The district prioritizes manageable commutes and supports its SLPs with dedicated case managers, allowing you to focus on clinical excellence and student progress.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology License required
- Valid CTC document: preliminary or clear SLP credential, or Certificate of Clearance
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered if supervision is secured
- Strong collaboration skills to work across multiple campuses
- Experience with school-aged populations preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 55-60 students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans addressing a diverse range of speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, teachers, parents, and case managers
- Travel between assigned school sites (typically 2, but up to 4), with support for mileage and assessment material reimbursement
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation and comply with all district and state regulations
